The Defence Attaché of the Embassy of the United States of America, Lt Col Douglas C. Hess and his staff met Major General SathyappriyaLiyanage, Overall Operations Commander (Western Province and Puttalam District) on 8th May 2019 at the HQ OOC at Panagoda.
The Defence Attaché exchanged views on the current security situation in the country and expressed their willingness to extend training and technical assistance in this hour of need.
