On 5 April 2024, with the permission of the Commander of the Army and under the guidance of the Commander of the 14 Infantry Division, and the supervision of the Commander of the 144 Infantry Brigade, a leadership camp was conducted for 63 prefects of Sri Subhuthi National School in Battaramulla. The program included various activities:
- Physical exercises
- Leadership lectures
- Disaster management lecture
- First aid lecture
- Team games
- Musical entertainment event
- Closing address
This training camp was conducted by 3 officers and 15 other ranks from the 2 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry and the 10 Battalion of the Sri Lanka National Guard. The Senior Staff Officer of the 144 Infantry Brigade, as well as the principal and vice principal of the school, participated in the program.
