Officer Cadets under training at Diyatalawa Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) (Intake-83) recently made a field visit to the Security Force Headquarters-West (SFHQ-West) as part of their familiarization component in the syllabus.\r\n\r\nA presentation was conducted by Brigadier J. Thanthiriwaththa, Brigadier General Staff, SFHQ-West on the directions of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Forces - West in order to provide the visiting Cadets with an overall picture of the roles of the SFHQ-West after they arrived at the Headquarters.\r\n\r\n39 Officer Cadets 4 Course Officers and 11 members of the civil staff joined the tour to the SFHQ-West.\r\nBefore their departure, the Officer Cadets presented a memento to Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Forces - West as a token of memory of the visit.
