71 Officer Cadets belong to Intake 87 and Intake 59(V) presently under training at the Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) Diyatalawa visited the Security Forces Headquarters (West) on Monday (11) as part of their familiarization module in the syllabus.
A presentation was conducted by Major B S C Padmakumara RSP psc - General Staff Officer 2(Trg) of SFHQ (West) on the directions of Major General Sathyappriya Liyanage, Commander - Security Forces (West) in order to provide the visiting Cadets with an overall picture of the roles, tasks and the history of the SF HQ (West) after they arrived at the Headquarters.
71 Officer Cadets, 6 Course Officers and few members of the civil staff joined the tour to the SF HQ (West).
Before their departure, the Officer Cadets presented a memento to Security Forces Headquarters (West) as a token to mark their visit.
