SFHQ-West Troops Clean Army Cantonment Residential Quarters Premises
Under the close supervision and guidance of Major General U.A.B Medawela, Commander, Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West), troops of all Divisions, Brigades and Units, conducted a full day Dengue eradication programme inside Panagoda Army Cantonment residential quarters and the entire premises during a Shramadana campaign on Monday (2).
Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake, Commander of the Army evaluating the resurgence of Dengue threat instructed the SFHQ-West to take necessary steps to clear garbage and other paraphernalia from vulnerable areas and cooperate with health authorities in the control of the epidemic.
