On the instructions of Major General Sathyappriya Liyanage, Commandant - Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF), Overall Operations Commander (Western Province and Puttalam District) and the Commander – SFHQ (West), A Programme on “Prevention of Drugs Addiction” was conducted at the Army Gymnasium - Panagoda in line with the “Mathin Nidahas Ratak” (Country Free of Narcotic Drugs) Programme of the Presidential Task Force on Wednesday (26) June.
Dr. Sajeewa Ranaweera and Mr. H M Thilakarathne of the Presidential Task Force conducted informative and timely lectures on Prevention of Drug Addictions.
Major General W A V A Sudasinghe USP ndc IG – Director General Army sports and over 600 Army personnel were attended the Programme.
