In parallel with the ongoing National Tree Planting programme to mark HE the President’s first year in office, the Security Force Headquarters-West (SFHQ-West) launched a tree planting programme on Friday (8).\r\n\r\nMajor General Sundantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-West representing the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva, planted a mango sapling at the SFHQ-West premises, commencing the event, accompanied by senior officers.\r\n\r\nA total of 2000 tree saplings are to be planted across all formations in the SFHQ-West during the campaign.
