SFHQ - West launches Bio Gas project in PNG Army Cantonment
Central Environmental Authority (CEA) at the request of the Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ - West) visited the Army Cantonment, Panagoda (PNG) on Thursday (03) to inspect and select suitable locations for their proposed newest Bio Gas projects.\r\n\r\nIn close cooperation with Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ - West those CEA officials commenced preliminary assessments to build two Bio Gas plants in selected areas in the Army Cantonment, PNG.\r\n\r\nThese projects are designed to bring more environmental benefits while recycling the waste, including leftover food, kitchen waste and decomposed organic materials before producing Bio Gas.
