SECURITY FORCES (WEST) TROOPS SALUTE THE OUT-GOING COMMANDER

A Guard Turnout offered by the troops of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment keeping with military traditions, saluted the outgoing Commander Security Forces (West) Major General K Liyanage RWP RSP ndu at the Security Forces Headquarters (West) - Panagoda on 01 May 2022.

Afterwards, the outgoing Commander participated for a group photograph and a few minutes later he participated for All Ranks tea and interacted with Officers and Other Ranks. Thereafter, the outgoing Commander has been presented a memento as a token of appreciation by the All Ranks of Security Forces Headquarters (West). Subsequently, he addressed the troops and thanked for extending generous assistance during his tenure as the Commander of Security Forces (West).

The proceedings reached the culmination with the departure of the outgoing Commander Security Forces (West), Major General K Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, from the Security Forces Headquarters (West) in a street line greeting, amidst good wishes of All Ranks in the Security Force Headquarters (West).

General Officer Commanding of 14 Infantry Division Major General D B A S Wickramasena RWP RSP USP psc Hdmc, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers of affiliated Battalions, Officers and Other Ranks of the Security Forces Headquarters (West) participated at the days’ programme.
