SECURITY FORCES WEST TROOPS CONDUCTED A LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN

As per the direction of the Commander Security Forces (West) and under the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding of 14 Infantry Division, and Commander of the 142 Infantry Brigade a two-day workshop for the newly appointed prefects board of the Junior College, Mattakotuwa, Nattandiya, Chilaw, has been conducted under the patronage of experienced team comprised of Officers and Other Ranks of 16 Gajaba Regiment, with the aim of developing leadership skills from 28 and 29 January 2022.

The workshop was consisted with physical training, sports, case studies, group discussions, practical sessions, and recreational activities. Furthermore, the main focus of the said programme was to develop the leadership qualities, team spirit, and various traits of society.

The two-day workshop ended with a campfire and the programme was successfully conducted, adhering to the COVID 19 health guidelines.
