Parallel to the Commendation certificates awarding ceremony, which was held at Army headquarters with the patronage of the HE the President on 09 August 2022, the Commander of the Army directed the Commander Security Forces (West) to arrange certificates awarding ceremony for the rest of the Army personnel who received Presidential Commendation.
Accordingly, as per the instructions given by the Commander Security Forces (West), the Army Personnel of Security Forces Headquarters (West) organized Commendation certificates awarding ceremony on 04 October 2022 at Regimental Headquarters Sri Lanka light infantry located at Army cantonment Panagoda.
The Programme was conducted under the patronage of Commander Security Forces (West) Major General D M K D B Pussella RWP RSP, thereby, 12 Officers and 95 Other Ranks serving under Security Forces (West) were awarded their Commendation certificates.
The programme was attended by General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division, Brigadier Admin and Quartering and Brigadier General Staff of Security Forces (West), Commanders of 141, 142 and 144 Infantry Brigades, several Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks.
