Security Coordinating Conference of Tri services, Police and STF was held at SF HQ (West) conference hall with the aim of coordinating security issues pertaining to the SF (West) AOR on (Wednesday) 25 April 2018.
The conference was chaired by Major General S D T Liyanage WWV RWP ndu psc the Commander Security Forces (West), and Senior DIG MR Latiff Commandant of STF, General Officer Commanders of 14 Div and 58 Divs, Senior Officers of Navy , Air Force, Police and State Internal Services were present at the conference.
The Commander stressed upon the importance of developing unity and understanding amongst stake holders, in order to enhance operational effectiveness and identify capabilities that could be accessed during crisis. Subsequently it was discussed to have similar sessions in divisional levels to have more close coordination in future.
