REMOVE A FALLEN TREE DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER

Due to the adverse weather condition, a tree has fallen to the road near the Pettah railway station and obstructed the motor traffic of the area. The troops of our battalion quickly respond on that situation and removed that tree from the road with the support of Colombo Municipal Council Fire Brigade.

As per the direction given by Brigadier KAWNH Bandaranayake USP the General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division and the guidance of Brigadier JKRP Jayasinghe RSP USP the commander 142 Infantry Brigade this program has been carried out by troops of 14th Battalion of the Vijayabahu Infranrty Regiment.
