Major General Sathyappriya Liyanage, Overall Operations Commander (Western Province and Puttalam District) visited Sectors of Kalutara district on 10th May 2019.
After visiting the HQ 582 Brigade, where he was briefed about the current situation, the OOC issued some guidance to the ground commanders. Thereafter, the OOC visited the area and met religious leaders and general public including school children, in a bid to build their confidence.
