NEWLY APPOINTED GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 61 INFANTRY DIVISION VISITS 613 INFANTRY BRIGADE

After assuming duties as the General Officer Commanding of 61 Infantry Division, Major General R A J N Ranasinghe RSP USP ndu made his maiden official visit to 613 Infantry Brigade and its under-command Battalions on 25 August 2023 respectively.

During the visit, the Brigade Commander and the Commanding Officers of the respective camps received the visiting General Officer Commanding after he was saluted with Guard Turnout on the arrival in accordance with military formalities. Then, the General Officer Commanding attended for a comprehensive briefing, conducted by the Brigade Commander and the respective Commanding Officers on their operational and administrative matters.

Few staff officers of 61 Infantry Division Headquarters accompanied the General Officer Commanding during the visit.
