A MOMENT OF APPRECIATION: SFHQ (WEST) COMMANDER HONORS CIVIL STAFF AT 12TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT

As part of the 12th anniversary celebrations of the Security Forces Headquarters (West), a special welfare program was launched on November 19th under the visionary leadership of Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (West). In recognition of the dedicated service of the civil staff, 36 dry ration packs were donated to them, highlighting their invaluable contributions to the organization.

Following the welfare initiative, a tea party was organized to further express appreciation for the civil staff’s unwavering commitment and hard work. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for civil servants to interact with Officers and Major General Lanka Amarapala, who took the time to personally acknowledge their efforts. During the tea, the Commander commended their dedication and emphasized the essential role they play in ensuring the smooth functioning of the headquarters.

This event highlighted the Army’s commitment to fostering strong relationships within its workforce, recognizing the significant contributions of both military personnel and civil staff. It reinforced the values of respect, appreciation, and unity within SFHQ (West), ensuring that every member, regardless of their role, feels valued and integral to the organization’s mission.
