On the direction of the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, General L H S C Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil, and the close supervision of the Commander Security Force (West), Major General K Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, a special mobile vaccination programme has been initiated from 1 February 2022 onwards.
The mobile vaccination programme is carried out, covering 8 districts under Security Forces Area of Responsibility (West) including Colombo, Gampaha, Puttalam, Kurunegala, Kegalle, Ratnapura, Kalutara, and Galle. Further, Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Base hospital – Panagoda also contributing its utmost assistance towards the success of the programme.
