Major General Medawela Assumes Duties as Commander West
Major General U.A.B Medawela assumed office at the auspicious time as the 3rd Commander, Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) on Monday (26) during a simple ceremony. \r\n\r\nA Guard Turnout plus a Guard of Honour soon after his entry into the premises greeted him in accordance with military formalities.\r\n\r\nHe signified acceptance of the office by signing an official document. \r\n\r\nAfterwards, Major General Medawela addressed the troops at the occasion. \r\n \r\n\r\n
