FOUNDATION STONE LAID FOR A NEW GATE AT THE MAIN ENTRANCE OF SECURITY FORCES HEADQUARTERS (WEST)
The foundation-stone laying ceremony for construction of a new gate at the main entrance of Security Force Headquarters (West) was held on Friday (11) November 2018.
Major General Sathyappriya Liyanage, Commander - Security Forces (West) at the auspicious time laid the foundation stone amidst chanting of ‘Seth Pirith’ as the Chief Guest for the event.
Afterwards, the Commander Security Forces (West) unveiled the symbolic plaque that marked the inauguration. Brigadier General Staff of SF HQ (West) along with Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of SF HQ (West) took part in the ceremony. The day’s programme ended with an interactive tea.
