Due to the bad weather conditions affecting the Security Forces West area of command these days, a civilian house in Egodagama, Puwakpitiya area of Colombo district was reported to have been destroyed by floods, according to the efforts of 2 x 20 troops from the 5 Field Engineer Regiment and 21 Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
Simultaneously, in the Kosgama area of the Colombo district, the National Electricity Board sought our assistance in removing dangerous and fallen trees. In a display of our seamless coordination, this task was promptly undertaken by the troops of 5 Field Engineer Regiment and 21 Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment on 5 June 2024.
