On the directions of Major General Vikum Liyanage, Commander, Security Forces – West, Major General Dammi Hewage, General Officer Commanding, 61 Division, together with Commander 613 Brigade and Commanding Officer 14 (V) Gemunu Watch on Monday (17) visited the Meepe Rural Hopital in Habaraduwa where COVID-19 patients remain warded.
During this visit, troops provided dinner for 100 patients and hospital staff as a community-oriented project.
