To coincide with the ongoing National War Heroes Commemorative Programme 'Dasawarshabishekaya', SFHQ(West) organized a Road March from Maharagama to Pannipitiya On 22 May 2019.
The arrangements have been made by the directions of the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake and with the guidance of Major General Sathyappriya Liyanage, Overall Operations Commander (Western Province and Puttalam District) and the Commander – SFHQ (West). Platoon each from SFHQ (West), under command Division Headquarters, Brigade Headquarters and battalions were marched with their flags at the parade.
