COMMANDER OF THE ARMY OBSERVED THE LANDSLIDE AT MORAWAKAKANDA
The Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Crisanthe De Silva went to Morawaka Township at 58 Division area Monday (05) evening, together with Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Force – West and other Several Senior Officers to observe landslide area at Morawakakanda.
Meantime the Commander of the Army looked into the progress of post disaster activities in Galle and Matara Districts and instructed the Ground Commanders on future involvements/activities.
