CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION OF 141 INFANTRY BRIGADE

In celebration of World Children’s day, on the conceptual guidance of Brigadier R R de S Dharmawickrema RSP, the Commander of the 141 Infantry Brigade, the 6th Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery and the 8th Battalion of Sri Lanka Light Infantry distributed lunch and stationary packs among 40 kids at the Vihara Maha Devi Preschool, Nittambuwa and 24 children at Isuru Children's Home, Siyambalape on 01 October 2024. In addition, a special musical programme to entertain the children was organized at the end of the event making the day memorable for children.

Lieutenant Colonel S. D. Ratnasiri, the Civil Affairs Officer of 141 Infantry Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel B S C Padma Kumara RSP USP psc, the Commanding Officer of 6th Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, Major Y D N De Silva RWP RSP the Commanding Officer of 8th Battalion of Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
