BROKEN BUND OF THE PERIYAKULAM TANK RECONSTRUCTED BY ARMY TROOPS

Periyakulam Tank of the Pubudugama Gramaseva Division which is located at the Mundalama Divisional Secretariat of Puttalam District was reconstructed by the Army troops with the guidance of Commander Security Forces (West) Major General D G S Senarath Yapa RWP RSP ndu and close supervision of the 143 Infantry Brigade Commander, along with the Commanding Officer of 16 Gajaba Regiment, on Friday (12).

This tank has the capacity of 50 acres and bund was broken due to heavy rain which was fallen in previous days.
