As per the direction of the General Officer Commanding of 61 Infantry Division, Major General W R M N Rathnayaka RWP RSP USP ndu and Commander 613 Infantry Brigade, as well as the close supervision of the Commanding Officer of 14 (V) Battalion of Gamunu Watch, another noble project coordinated in line with continuous sponsorship lent by Thalagala Sri Siddhartha Foundation (Sri Lanka) and the Tan Ngak Buay & Kee Meng Lang Foundation Limited (Singapore), to give away one more consignment of 150 packs of dry ration to poverty-stricken families living in Divisional Secretariat of Habaraduwa on 07 July 2022 at Dharmika Maha Vidyalaya, Katukurunda, Habaraduwa.
Necessary arrangements for the project were arranged and coordinated by Army personnel of 14 (V) Battalion of Gamunu Watch and with the assistance of the Divisional Secretariat, Habaraduwa, the beneficiaries have been selected.
Ven Talagala Sri Sumanaratana Nayake Thero, president of Thalagala Sri Siddhartha Foundation (Sri Lanka), District Secretary of Galle District, Divisional Secretary of Habaraduwa and Army personnel of 14 (V) Battalion Gamunu Watch participated at the distribution.
