Responding to a request made by Visakha Vidyalaya – Colombo 5, Army Personnel of 142 and 144 Infantry Brigades of Security Forces (West) voluntarily donated their blood to the Central Blood Bank at Narahenpita on 02 July 2022.
The aforesaid blood donation programme was organized by senior prefects of Visakha Vidyalaya – Colombo 5 with the coordination of a medical team from the General Hospital - Narahenpita.
There were around 40 Army Personnel who donated their blood for this noble task.
