ANOTHER COMMUNITY PROGRAMME ORGANIZED BY 141 INFANTRY BRIGADE

Under the direction of Commander Security Forces (West) Major General S W M Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, and with the guidance of General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division Major General K A W N H Bandaranayake USP, the troops of 6 Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery organized a community program, with the supervision of Commander 141 Infantry Brigade Colonel R R De S Dharmawickrama RSP. The initiative aimed to provide lunch, including snacks, to 22 children and 12 staff members of the Peter Weerasekera Children Development Centre on April 8, 2024.

Commanding Officer Lt Col G R R K S Jayarathne RSP psc IG led the efforts with the objective of ensuring the children's joyful celebration of the Sinhala and Hindu New Year. The Commander 141 Infantry Brigade graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. During the event, children received gifts, including school accessories.
