Responding to a request made by the Red Cross Society of Royal College – Colombo , a considerable gathering of Army personnel serving in Security Forces (West) AOR voluntarily donate blood to the Central Blood Bank at Narahenpita on 26 August 2022.
The aforesaid blood donation programme was organized by the Red Cross Society of Royal College with the coordination of the central Blood Bank- Narahenpita.
According to the instructions given by the Commander Security Forces (West) , around 270 Army personnel from 14 Infantry Division and Regimental centres established in Security Forces (West) AOR donated blood for this charitable event with great enthusiasm.
