On the directions and guidance of the General Officer Commending 61 Division Maj Gen Dhammi Hewage, a tree planting was conducted on Monday (22) February 2021 within the camp premises of division Headquarters in Galle.
100 hybrid coconut saplings (Plus form – 05) were planted, which the harvest can be taken within 5 years. The project was assisted by the Coconut cultivation Board – Galle and Lt Col Mayura Nishantha coordinated the project..
