A group of Army personnel from the 10 Sri Lanka National Guard of 144 Infantry Brigade under Security Forces (West) recently contributed their assistance to clearing a fallen tree that had suddenly fallen along the Denzil Kobbekaduwa road around the evening hours due to heavy rains on 30 March 2023.
When the news was reported, as per the direction of the Commander Security Forces (West), troops rushed to the venue and commenced the clearing works in collaboration with the Police, Disaster Management Centre and residents in the area.
Commander 144 Infantry Brigade and Commanding Officer 10 Sri Lanka National Guard closely supervised the task.
