14 INFANTRY DIVISION MARKS 13TH ANNIVERSARY WITH COLORFUL CELEBRATIONS

The 14 Infantry Division celebrated its 13th anniversary with a series of events on 6 April 2024. The day commenced with a colorful Guard Turnout at the entrance followed by a ceremonial parade at the 6 Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment parade ground at Panagoda, in honor of Major General KAWNH Bandaranayake USP, the General Officer Commanding of the 14 Infantry Division. Subsequently, the Chief Guest, along with the Deputy General Officer Commanding, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, and All Ranks of the under-command Brigades and Battalions, participated in an All Ranks Tea Party.

Subsequently the All Ranks Dinner has been organized by the division for all under command Brigades and Battalions on 8 April 2024, at the Regimental Headquarters Light Infantry at Panagoda. The ceremony commenced at 1900 hours, adhering to all military formalities, and was embellished by a Music Band and a Dancing team from the Directorate of Art and Performance. General Officer Commanding of 14 Infantry Division graced this occasion as the chief guest.

Deputy General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division all Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers and all Ranks of under command Brigades and Battalions have been participated to that Formal Dinner night.
