The 14 Infantry Division took center stage as it hosted a distinguished Diners’ Club event at the Corps of Engineer Service Regimental Officers’ Mess on 30 April 2024. Major General SWM Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil, Commander of Security Forces (West), graced the occasion as the Guest Speaker, delivering a thought-provoking lectured speech on 'Military Strategic Leadership Through Professionalism and Intellectualism'.
Together with the guidance of Major General KAWNH Bandaranayake USP, the General Officer Commanding, the 14 Infantry Division recognized the imperative to bolster knowledge and confidence among Officers amidst their operational commitments.
A notable gathering of 125 officers, including the Deputy General Officer Commanding of 14 Infantry Division, Brigade Commanders, Brigadier Admin & Quartering of Security Forces (West), Senior Officers and Officers, contributed to the significance and impact of this insightful event.
