14 Div & 143 Brigade Troops Contribute to \'Poson\'
Troops of the 14 Division and the 143 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) contributed to the successful conduct of the Poson ceremony by declaring a Poson Zone under the theme of \'Mihinthalawai Daham Amawai\' in Bingiriya Dewegiri Purana Viharasthanaya, Chilaw opening to the general public on Tuesday (2). This Poson Zone will be opened till Saturday (6).
A replica of the Mihinthalaya, many varied type of colourful lanterns, Bakthi Gee (devotional songs) recitals, etc attracted hundreds of Poson sight-seers who were out visiting Poson decorations.
The inauguration of the Poson arrangements was done by Brigadier P.J Gamage, General Officer Commanding, 14 Division with the participation of many Army personnel and civilians.
