14 CES Tops in Army Inter Battalion Softball Cricket Tournament 2016
Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) took the responsibility of organizing the Army Inter Battalion Softball Cricket Tournament 2016 on the directions of the Army Cricket Board at Sri Lanka Artillery ground on Monday (27).\r\n\r\n20 teams from Battalions of the SFHQ-West competed in preliminary rounds and 8 teams qualified for the final round.\r\n\r\n6 Corps of Engineer Service (CES) and 14 CES competed in the finals on Monday (27). In the final match, 14 CES beat 6 CES and emerged as champions.\r\n\r\nCommander, Security Forces - West, Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe who graced the occasion as the chief guest was warmly welcomed by Brigadier M. A. A.D Sirinaga, Brigadier Admin and Quartering.
