Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) Reinforces Civil Military Partnership Through Official Engagements in Kilinochchi

Major General KTP De Silva RSP ndu psc, the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), made an official visit to the District Secretariat in Kilinochchi on 02 February 2026, where he paid a courtesy visit to the Government Agent Mr. S. Muralidaran. The meeting was conducted in a cordial manner, reflecting the strong spirit of cooperation between the civil administration and the Security Forces in the Northern Province.

During the discussions, both parties exchanged views on matters of contemporary importance, with particular emphasis on strengthening civil military coordination to ensure enduring stability, public security, and the continued wellbeing of the people. The dialogue highlighted the shared responsibility of civil and military institutions in fostering a peaceful environment, while recognizing the reciprocal benefits of close collaboration in addressing community needs and safeguarding social harmony.

Following this engagement, Major General Tiral De Silva also met the Additional Government Agent and the Deputy Director of the Disaster Management Centre in Kilinochchi.
