Brigadier K P N S K Kariyawasam Lsc AATO assumed duties as the 6th Commander of Logistics Command (Jaffna) on 29 December 2025, amidst religious observance with military formalities.
Upon arrival, he was warmly welcomed by Staff Officer 1 and ceremony commenced with a customary guard turnout, followed by a assumed office following this, planted a sapling in front of the Logistics Command Headquarters followed by a group photograph with Officers and Other ranks. Subsequently the event culminated with an all rank tea.
Subsequently, the Logistics Commander met with the Commander, Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna), who extended his best wishes for the new appointment.
