52 Infantry Division troops under the supervision of Security Force Headquarters (Jaffna) carried out essential disaster-response operations within the 52 Division Area of Responsibility as adverse weather and flooding affected several communities on 02 December 2025. Troops of 52 Infantry Division conducted following disaster response operations in order to establish normalcy in affected areas.

11 Vijyabahu Infantry Regiment provided drinking water to residents of Thondamannaru after wells became contaminated due to Cyclonic Storm Ditwah and troops cleaned a public well.
11 Field Sri Lanka Engineers and the 523 Infantry Brigade distributed 1,090 lunch packets to flood-affected families and supplied drinking water to 04 safety centers approximately 320 families ( more than 1,000 people).
23 Gemunu Watch Regiment distributed drinking water to 80 civilians in Muhamalai and repaired a minor road between Eluthumattuwal and Kilaly.
