Commander of the 52 Infantry Division Joined With Distribute School Equipment’s to Children in Muhamale Rctm School and Conducted Awareness Program of De – Mining Process to Children and Civilians

Based on a concept of the Commander of the Security Forces Jaffna Maj Gen YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc and with the vital instructions and guidance from the General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division Maj Gen MN Fernando RSP, Commander - 522 Infantry Brigade Col JAC Karunathilaka Rsp Usp organized a distribute school equipments worth Rs. 200000.00 to 33 children at Muhamale RCTM School and awareness Programme of De – Mining Process to children and civilians. The event took place at Muhamale RCTM School from 0900 hrs to 1150 hrs on 14.06.2025

The programme was organized by Maj EA Edirisinghe RWP RSP psc commanding officer 23 Gemunu Watch with the financial support of Hallo Trust De – Minding organization, Mr Jagath Kumara, Mr Losith Danthanarayana, Mr Rasika Jayamanna, Mr Vajira Subasingha, Mr Mahesh Wimalasundara and Mr Ruwan Perera. Senior Officers of 52 Infantry Division, 522 Infantry Brigade, School teachers of Muhamale RCTM School were participated for the event.

Also educated, safety measures for the public living near the areas where those landmines are to be cleared during this awareness program. Furthermore, the distribution of school items to students was carried out by the General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division Maj Gen MN Fernando RSP, Commander - 522 Infantry Brigade Col JAC Karunathilaka Rsp Usp and community relation officer - Hallo Trust.
