The troops of 51 Infantry Division celebrate the most prominent Poson Poya Day (2025.05.10) under the guidance and supervision of Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division. Two separate Dansal session were organized in morning and evening in front the Headquarters 51 Infantry Division, Kopay, Jaffna on 10 June 2025.
The morning Dansala was organized with the generous support of MD Cordial [Lanka Canneries (Pvt) Ltd) and numerous support of 51 Infantry Division’s troops. Delicious cordial and biscuits offered for more than 500 people who were traveling along the Rasa road till 1100 hrs on Poson Poya Day.
The evening Dansala was organized by troops of 51 Infantry Division displaying religious and cultural harmony. They offered hot “Milk Coffee with Pol Roti” for more than 700 people who were traveling along the Rasa road and villagers around the Division, from 1700 hr to 2000 hr on Poson Poya Day.
