In align with the “WORLD ENVIRENMANTAL DAY 2025” 512 Infantry Brigade conducted a cleaning programme along the “Panneyi causeway” in Jaffna on 04 June 2025 under the guidance of Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding 51 infantry Division and the close supervisions of Colonel LAR Gunaratne RSP USP IG, Commander 512 Infantry Brigade.
The event was organized in parallel to World Environment Week 2025 under the theme of “Ending Plastic Pollution”. Troops of 17 Gamunu Watch and 14 Gajaba Regiment under 512 Infantry Brigade, actively took part in the event by cleaning all plastic waste beside the Panneyi Causeway.
