In align with the Vesak Festival General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division carried out special community welfare initiative at “Mother Teresa Elders' Home”, Irupalai, Kopay and “Karunalayam Child Home”, Thirunelvely on 13 May 2025. The Programme included cleaning programme to enhance the living standard of the residents, followed by a heart worming gesture of offering special alms - giving to senior citizens and child.
Moreover, a “Noodles Dansala” was organized on the same day in front of the Headquarters 51 Infantry Division at Kopay. A large number of civilians living around the area attended the dansala. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of 51 Infantry Division participated in this charity event.
