Blood Donation Campaign at Palaly Army Hospital in Celebration of Vesak

A blood donation drive was successfully conducted today at the Palaly Army Hospital in conjunction with the Vesak festival. The initiative was organized under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces Headquarters -Jaffna, Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, and held under the leadership of The Commander, Log comd (J) Major General HPI Perera RWP RSP.

Demonstrating true compassion and a spirit of service, nearly 150 members including Senior officers,officers and soldiers from various units came forward to donate blood. Their contribution not only honors the significance of Vesak but also serves a vital humanitarian cause, strengthening the medical services available to those in need.

This event stands as a commendable example of the Sri Lanka Army’s dedication to community welfare and social responsibility.
