On the occasion of more than 29 years since the establishment of 521 Infantry Brigade Headquarters, a blood donation program was organized on 15th March 2025 at 521 Infantry Brigade under the guidance of Brigadier PSK Ranathungamage RSP psc, The Commander of 521 Infantry Brigade.
The program was conducted with the support of the Blood Bank of Point Pedro Base Hospital. Total 72 Donors comprising Officers/Other ranks and civil servants of 521 Infantry Brigade and 4 SLSR, 11 VIR Battalions under command and 02 civilians living in the area participated in donating blood. They generously donated blood to replenish the Point Pedro Base Hospital’s critical blood needs.
