As per the Direction of Director General of Army Health Services and Director Army Medical Services, Major (Dr) WANC Wijesinghe - Commanding Officer of Army Base Hospital, Palaly and the Hospital staff organized a blood donation campaign with the assistance of Blood Bank- Teaching Hospital, Jaffna, to mark the75th Anniversary of Sri Lanka Army.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of Major General MGWWWMCB Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander of Security Force (Jaffna) and total of 144 Officers and Other Ranks participated in donating blood.
