As a goodwill gesture and to maintain strong bond with the community in the Kilinochchi District, the 55 Infantry Division conducted a Beauty Culture Workshop with the cooperation of Nature’s Beauty Creations Ltd at the RS Green Barathi Resort, Killinochchi for over 130 young ladies in the Killiunochchi Districton 07 September 2024.
The Workshop was organized by Colonel DMVV Dissanayakeato SLAOC, the Colonel Admin and Quartering of 55 Infantry Division with the blessing of Major General RKNC Jayawardene RSP ndc, the General Officer Commanding of 55 Infantry Division,in order to uplift the financial sustainability of the community and to introduce the best practice in beauty culture for young ladies.
District Secretary of Kilinochchi, Mr. S Muralitharan was graced the event as the Chief Guest. The Commander of 553 Infantry Brigade, Colonel WAIS Mendis RSP USP, Commander of 552 Infantry Brigade, Colonel CD Welegedara USP,General Manager of the Nature’s Beauty Creations Ltd,MrNalaka Gunawardhanaalong with few senior officials represented the ceremony.
Mrs. Tinojini a senior trainer of Vocational Training Authority graced as the resource person of the workshop. The participants enjoyed delicious and healthy meals from morning tea to lunch. At the end of the workshop, the beneficiaries were awarded with valuable certificates andalso gifted beauty product parcels from the Nature’s Beauty Creations Ltd.
