As per the direction and guidance of Major General MGWWWMCB Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) a medical clinic was conducted for the children of Selwapuram and Yogapuram villages at the CIMIC Park of 51 Infantry Division on 26 August 2024.
The medical clinic was conducted by the medical team headed by the Commanding Officer of the Army Base Hospital, Palaly and during the clinic medical team screened the children for medical diseases, nutritional deficiencies, dental hygiene and skin diseases. They also conducted a health care awareness programme for the parents.
Following the clinic, dinner was provided for all participants with the generous patronages of philanthropists’ assistance provided by Mr. Raj Kumar and companions.
The day’s programme was coordinated and conducted by the staff of 51 Infantry Division under the supervision of Major General WBJK Wimalaratne RWP RSP – the General Officer Commanding. Parents and children paid their gratitude to the Army for addressing of timely needed requirements.
