Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna) celebrated a significant auspicious Oil Anointing (Hisa Thel Gama) ceremony at the Headquarters premises with the presence of Major General Chandana Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the Security Force Commander in the Morning on 15 April. The Chief Monk of Tissa Viharaya, conducted the ceremony.
Afterwards, an Alms Giving was held at the Security Forces Commander’s Residence that invoked spiritual blessings for all members of the Security Forces Headquarters and alsoin remembrance of invoke merits on fallen war heroes. The Chief Monk of Naga Viharaya, the Chief Monk of Tissa Viharaya along with clergy participated for the Alms Giving.
Major General EMM Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, the Logistics Commander of Jaffna, several other Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and family members participated in the day’s activity.
