Sri Lankan Air Force is making arrangements to hold ‘Air Force Tattoo’ from 06th March to 10th March at Muttraweli Ground, Jaffna to mark the 73rdAir Force Anniversary. This event will feature an extensive exhibition encompassing many activities related to military aviation, engineering field, disaster management, airborne, adventures and public entertainment.
Since it is a mega event and large number of general publicmay expected to visit, Major General Chandana Wickramasinghe, the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), hold a coordinating conference with all stake holderson 05th Marchin order to make sure of smooth opening and events to unfold effectively. Afterwards, Jaffna Commander joined for the field visit with ground military commanders and Air Force officers. The purpose of the field visit was to witness the ground arrangements in order to allow civil community toattend the event smoothly.
The General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division along with respective military Officers, the Director General of Aeronautical Engineer ofAir Force along with respective Air Force Officers, Assistant Superintend of Police of Jaffna along with Police Officers and Staff Officers of the Security Forces (Jaffna) also attended for the conference and field visit.
