The Commander Security Forces – Jaffna, Major General ChandanaWickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc honoured retired Warrant Officer (WO 1) AK Ramanadan on 25th January 2024, who passed away after serving the Army for 22 years before retirement in 1980.
WO 1 AK Ramanadan (Retired), a father of five children (3 sons and 2 daughters) had been living in Jaffna – Puttur even during the height of operations against LTTE terrorists, despite risks for his own life. He is a proud member of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended the funeral in which military honours were awarded.
